4th Grade

In 4th Grade Music at Lakeview, students will continue singing, learn to play (and have the option to buy) recorders, learn more about rhythms, learn note names in treble clef, audition for Lakeview Chorus, and perform in the Christmas and Spring Programs. Special units will be taught about rhythm, instrument families, and jazz music. 4th Grade students will receive a grade for music on the 2nd report card (for behavior, participation, and projects completed during the first half of the school year) and the 3rd report card (for behavior, participation, and projects completed during the second half of the school year.)
